I recently found this really cool 3D Museum website, maintained by the Vertebrate Paleobiology Lab of the University of California. Although the website is quite primitive, there are several geological objects available in 3D format and because of that it is so much more interesting than any other website introducing geological objects. Hopefully in the nearby future there will be a lot of wesites similar to this one as it is so much more interesting and it could help us understand things that we might otherwise never see in our life!
